Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. It is important that you know what your spiritual state is now.

By nature we do the things which are not convenient

  • We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. ISAIAH 53:6
  • There is no one righteous, not even one. ROMANS 3:10
  • Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins. Ecclesiastes 7:20
  • for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ROMANS 3:23
  • But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.ISAIAH 59:2

God loves us despite our faults.

  • For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. JOHN 3:16
  • But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. EPHESIANS 2:4-5

Jesus died on the Cross as a substitute to pay our debt of sins before God.

  • For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. EPHESIANS 2:8, 9
  • ...he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit... TITUS 3:5
  • Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. JOHN 14:6

You must receive the gift of God in Jesus through faith.

  •  If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. ROMANS 10:9, 10
  • They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” ACTS 16:31

Through faith we are now children of God.

  • Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. ROMANS 8:17
  • Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. JOHN 3:1

If you have put your faith in Jesus some things have happened in your life.

Now you are a child of God, your sins have been forgiven and you have Eternal Life. As part of the Family of God, it is important to recognize that a successful life is the result of your dependence on Jesus Christ. Following his precepts, creating solid relationships with those who also believe in Him, serving in His Kingdom and testifying of Him to every person, becomes our goal and responsibility.
